I am a Product Design Lead at Meta, working on Cross-Meta Integrity tooling products. Previously I was a Design Director at The Washington Post leading their Product Design team.Before joining The Washington Post, I was a Senior Creative Director for Capital One leading an experience design team comprised of researchers, design strategists, content designers, and UX/Ui/Visual designers.Prior to Capital One, I was an Associate Creative Director with Gannett / USA TODAY for web, mobile, wearable, and other digital user experiences.I graduated from George Mason University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Digital Arts, and several years later returned to earn my Master of Arts (MA) degree in Graphic Design by 2012. I continued my time at George Mason University by becoming an Adjunct Professor in their School of Art & Design teaching graduate and undergraduate students in the Graphic Design program.In 2005, I started Convoy Skateboards, LTD. Skateboarding is something I have been doing since I was 8 years old. I am dedicated to it & hope it is always a part of my life. My team and I designed award winning Army.Mil products such as My.Army.Mil (DoD's first customizable website), the U.S. Army iPhone application, dozens of microsites, and the U.S. Army's first digital guideline toolkit for web and social media branding.On a daily basis I wore many hats, including information architect, UI designer, UX designer, front end designer/developer, and technical coordinator with backend database and web developers.
