I spent 7 years at Cliftonville Football Club during which we managed to win back to back Irish Premier League Titles, 4 League Cups and 2 County Antrim Shields. Playing at left back, I was fortunate to have captained this great club on more than 20 occasions and represented the club in both the Europa League and Champions League, including at Celtic Park in 2013/2014.

As a senior consultant, my involved working with 3rd sector and public sector clients to write funding applications and tenders, prepare business plans and appraisals, support organisations with strategic planning and evaluate funded projects. Experiences included work with grass roots 3rd sector organisations to local authorities and national governing bodies across the UK.

Sportopps.com was a social enterprise based in North Belfast. It was part of the Belfast Community Sports Development Network. As business development manager at Sportopps i had responsibilities including recruiting, training and employing local sports coaches, creating opportunities for personal development and pathways to employment through Sport.We connected sports coaches to local organisations including schools, youth groups and care homes enhancing access to sport and physical activity in deprived communities and vulnerable populations.

Responsible for the delivery of Mobile Summer Teams and Active Communities Programmes. Working across North Belfast I was tasked with creating new links to organisations not already engaged, and encouraging increased participation in sport and physical activity. Remit also included assisting sports clubs and youth clubs to access public funding.
