- One of the first members of Pivotal’s Platform Reliability Engineering (PRE) team, consisting of architects bringing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to the deployment and operation of customer application platforms by Pivotal.- Worked remote and on-site with Pivotal’s strategic customers on the above, bringing concepts such as Agile, Infrastructure-as-Code, Elimination of TOIL, CI/CD and more to enterprises seeking modernisation of apps and infrastructure.- First architect on the Platform Services team to shift focus to Pivotal Container Service (PKS), bringing Kubernetes to the enterprise, working on its integration with VMware NSX to prepare for the first customer rollouts and engagements.- Lead architect of an advanced technical course to teach cross organisational and customer attendees how Pivotal’s distributed application platform (PAS/PKS) is deployed in practice, with heavy reliance on automation and SRE concepts, to prepare for real-world deployments.- Worked closely with developer teams of key Pivotal products to bring first-hand field perspective to the table and influence design/features of future releases.- Subject matter expert for VMware products (vSphere/NSX).- Mentoring of new architects.
