Provided inpatient treatment, individual, group and family therapy, outreach work, case management, school consultation, psycho-education, objective and projective assessments (including neuropsychological tests), diagnosis of mental retardation (DMR), and forensic work (i.e. competency, sanity evaluations) for Mentally Retarded, Severely Mentally Ill, Blind/Visually Impaired, Learning/Cognitively Disabled, Developmentally Disabled, and Severely Mentally ill adolescents and adults. The internship consists of three rotations lasting four months each: Adolescent Unit, Acute Unit, Forensic Unit. Didactic training and grand rounds with a local hospital occur weekly.
