I was inspired by my mom using her baking skills to support us and get me through school as a single mother. She was resourceful, enterprising, and entrepreneurial without even knowing it. That's why during my sophomore year of high school, I started Finer Things Accessories, my own clothing and accessories line. In the over 2 years I owned and operated the business from 2021 to 2023, I made over 2,000 sales through vending at marketplaces, pop up shops, social media, Etsy, and display sets I had at Livingston Mall in NJ and Jefferson Valley Mall in NY. I want to become the best at what I do, and that's why I decided to study entrepreneurship at the University of Miami's Miami Herbert Business School. I have taken courses in marketing, microeconomics, management, business law, and business technology. My education has also made me familiar with using Microsoft Office. I want to continue pursuing my education while gaining more experience in the business world that will make me more effective.
