About Ean Stevenson
I recently graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a dual degree in electrical engineering and economics. After completing a co-op with Lockheed Martin at the RMS Syracuse location, I have accepted a grid planning position with NYISO located in Albany. In my current position, I analyze the power grid for stability concerns to ensure enough power can consistently be supplied to meet consumer demand. My past work at Lockheed Martin included integration and test engineering for software. I was also able to lead the construction of 4 new development assets and a test simulator. Some other projects from my time at RPI also include working on labs with design, implementation, and troubleshooting aspects. Some of the projects I worked on include a ball launcher mini project, power generating bicycle design, an economics experimental design, an algae sensor, and the design of a grid following converter for wind turbines using Simulink.
