As a consultant, my responsibilities will include promoting and facilitating active Indian expert participation in ASTM Committees D13 on Textiles and F23 on Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment; encouraging laboratories to participate in related D13 proficiency test programs pertaining to textiles and yarns and threads; and organizing and conducting annual textile industry events in India. I will also serve as an instructor for various ASTM technical and professional training courses related to textiles.

Worked as the customer services and Technical Resources Manager . Was involved right from conception of the idea to building the company as the leader in its field in India. Helped expend activities into other South Asian and South East Asian Countries.Primary job was to provide technical solutions, applications training to clients.Left the company to pursue responsibilities with AATCC and ASTM. Stresses of commercial world was taking its toll on me so I wanted a more stress free area to work, where intelligence was the benchmark and not turnover.
