Four things you don’t know about me (one is not true):1) I was Justin Timberlake’s Sunday School teacher 2) I beat John Daly in golf3) I was a zombie on “The Walking Dead” 4) I played piano at Carnegie HallThree things I want you to know about me:1) I trust my gut, but I use data to drive my decisions. Always have, always will. After completing my MBA in Finance (with a BS in Marketing already under my belt) I would get interviews just out of curiosity: ”These two disciplines don’t go together.” Fast forward to today: ”Yeah, they do.” I use both quantitative and qualitative information to tell a story. It’s helped me take an enterprise-wide view of revenue growth, productivity, and opportunities, while being able to dial down into the details where the real work happens. My colleagues call me Doctor Data: I can separate grey into black and white.2) Developing a clear, concise, implementable, and scalable strategy is a labor of love. The best advice I received before going into healthcare was, “Always be an outsider. Look at things from the patient’s perspective. A lot of good things come from being human, vulnerable, and imperfect.” By keeping the customer at the center of everything I do, I have been able to deploy strategies and tactics that exceed corporate KPIs, meet the needs of stakeholders, and motivate my team to participate in the mission.3) The success of any venture or implementation of any strategy is directly tied to the people involved. When they understand the “why”, then the “what” and the “how” comes naturally. I like to succeed, but that’s directly tied to the success of my team. I seek, motivate, and retain super-smart and uber-talented people and help them win. What has this helped me to accomplish over the past 25+ years in various roles?• New revenue growth of 36%• Net revenue improvement of 16% in existing markets• Enterprise-wide data dashboard design and deployment in 3 months• Sales productivity increases of 25%• Team turnover of less than 12%• 41% growth in new markets• 27 new product/service launchesTwo things to take away:1) Professional Skills:Business Development | Strategic Planning | Business Analytics | Market Disruption | Team Leadership | Marketing Management | Executive Communications | Technology Integration | Competitive Intelligence | Product & Brand Management2) I can do this for you too.One more thing: If you want the answer to the “four things” feel free to connect. I enjoy meeting new colleagues and talking data and strategy.
