Responsibilities: Represented Phibro (Solomon Brothers) in West and East African countries buying, selling and trading petroleum products and gathering marketing intelligence, which assisted in providing competitive edge in market. Responsibilities: Served as Marketing Manager for national oil company mandated with responsibility of providing 100 percent of country’s petroleum requirement. Responsible for supervision of 32 people department responsible for selecting, negotiating and scheduling crude and petroleum import and export, scheduling and coordinating refinery through-put and product distribution. Developed projections used in successful negotiation of $50 million short-term oil facility, and was directly responsible for operational administration of that oil facility.Successfully acted on behalf of Sun Oil Company in the contentious sale - to the Government of Liberia (GOL) - of its interest in the Liberia Refining Company wherein Sun claimed 'expropriation' of its asset, and GOL claimed Sun 'abandoned' its contractual obligations.

Responsibilities: Served as Personnel Director for privately owned (Skelly Oil Company) lumber and plywood company with over 1,300 employees. Responsible for administration of personnel, housing, medical, and security divisions of company while serving on five-person management team with responsibility of overall management of company. Personally developed and implemented initial Personnel Policy Manual in line with company policy, government regulations, and union contract terms.

Responsibilities: Promoted to Superintendent within five years having served as Utility Person, Lab Technician and Pumper-Gauger in privately owned (Sun Oil Company and Dynalectron Corporation) refinery and distribution company. Responsible for scheduling receiving, transferring (crude and products) and blending all petroleum products and developing the company’s first Training Manual and Operating Procedures for off-site facilities.
