Earl founded, and is currently involved with, two companies - the most recent is SteriGear, LLC, a medical device manufacturing company that was started in 2007. SteriGear's strength is in strong and widespread relationships throughout the medical distribution chain. SteriGear sells directly to over 1,800 hospitals, surgery centers, skilled nursing facilities and to nearly all the large medical distributors. Earl holds 20 US and International patents on medical devices. Earl is an innovative entrepreneur who, with his wife Julie, started Propeller, Inc. in 1991. In 1997, their company was named winner of the "Utah 100" topping the list of the fastest-growing companies in Utah. Propeller increased sales 14,000 percent from 1992 to 1997 as a computer reseller and supplier of custom configurations to such organizations as Oracle, Hewlett Packard, and Southwestern Bell. Starting his career in the advertising industry, Earl worked for an advertising agency - Trout and Ries - in New York City in downtown Manhattan. He moved to Ad-Media International in Los Angeles, then joined Toshiba as District Sales Manager for the Western United States. He won Toshiba's "Rookie of the Year" award. As founder of Propeller in 1991, Earl has creatively positioned his company as market opportunities have presented themselves. Propeller is now a progressive logistics company specializing in kitting and assembly, inventory management, and shipping.Earl learned to fly at 15 and was only 16 years old when he earned his pilot's license. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in communications and received the "Outstanding Senior in Advertising" award. Earl is dedicated to the highest standards of customer service.
