Manages the department of Plant Operations for 2 Hospitals. Includes: Environmental Services, Safety, Security, Materials Management, and Food and Dietary Services. Plans, organizes, manages and controls the hospitals facilities management functions, loss prevention management functions, telecommunications functions and daily direction of the kitchen/dietary functions. The position is also responsible for the ongoing implementation and monitoring of a safety management program including Life Safety Code compliance. Responsible for Joint Commission and DADS compliance.

My experience includes 39 years of business management, operations and sales. Most recently as Regional Director of Operations and Sales for 11 senior communities in 3 states with an operating budget of $15.5 million. My Region ranked number one in gross sales in the Southern Division for 2009 and I exceeded the company average by 10 units per community. I produced a group sale of 11 units by creating a joint venture, the Friendship House, between a hospital and a cancer center. My operating expenses are 5.6% under the budgeted amount for 2009 and I spent 4.7% less than in 2008.
