Earl Parson is a Principal at Parson Architecture. Colleagues describe him as "I studied with Earl at Pasadena City College, where he taught an architectural drawing class and was always prepared, enthusiastic and tuned in to each students needs and abilities. More importantly, he taught us to think of drawing not as an act of documentation but rather a method of perception, exploration and engagement with the world. Earl was truly one of the best instructors I've had the privilege to study with. Beyond the classroom, Earl helped to shape my life by encouraging me to finish my education at Columbia University. His other students in that class went on to SCIARC, U Penn, and Woodbury Universities, among others. Although many of those students were already very driven to succeed, I believe Earl's encouragement helped to push them over the top. Earl was and continues to be an inspiration to me. I believe anyone lucky enough to work with him will agree."
