Oversee the daily accounting, office and information technology needs of the firm.

Oversee the Finance department including Accounting, Revenue Audit, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Cage and Count. Assist the CFO in preparing the monthly financial statements.

Work with the Controller in preparing monthly financial statements. Reconcile general ledger accounts. Work with Revenue Audit department to ensure proper recording of revenues to the general ledger.

Oversee the daily activity of the Finance, Cage, Count, Payroll and Shipping/Receiving departments. Work with the Staff Accountant to prepare/review/present the monthly financial statements to the General Manager, Department Managers, CEO and CFO. Review and submit all required BSA/Title 31 paperwork.Prepare year budgets with Department Managers and General Manager.

Perform the daily reconciliations of ten different bank accounts of the Oneida Tribe of Indians. Perform cash receipt entry as needed. Reconcile Unapplied Cash and Cash Disbursement accounts.

Oversee the daily audits of the Gun Lake Casino operations including Cage, Table Games, Slots, Purchasing and Food and Beverage. Perform, compile and present audits to Executive Director and individual casino departments. Perform follow up audits as required. Perform surprise cash audits of the Cage, Slots and Food and Beverage departments. Present monthly and quarterly reports to the Executive Director.

Casino Controller : Oversee the daily operations of the Cage and Count departments. Review daily variances, compliance reports and ensure that proper action was taken to resolve issues presented. Work with Cage and Count Managers to ensure department objectives were met.Cage Manager : Oversee the daily operations of the Cage. Mentor Shift Managers in the performance of their duties to ensure that department objectives and goals were met. Ensure that the needs of each department in relation to the Cage were met and addressed. Work with other department managers to ensure a sound working relationship between departments. Perform all Credit duties of the Cage department. Address compliance issues of the department when presented.Casino Accounting Manager : Review the daily audits to ensure accuracy of the audits being performed prior to be posted to the General Ledger. Work with the Revenue Auditors to ensure that all assignments were being meet on time. Mentor the Revenue Auditors to help them grow in their roles within the department. Work with Controller and VP of Finance to ensure the timely completion of financial reports.Staff Accountant : Perform monthly account reconciliations as assigned. Work with Controller and VP of Finance in the compiling of financial reports. Calculated the NIGC and State of Michigan payments on a monthly and quarterly basis. Cage Shift Manager : Oversee the shift operations of the Gun Lake Casino cage. Mentor each of the cashiers in their roles within the Cage. Work with other Shift Manager from each department to ensure that needs were met. Scheduling of staff to meet customer needs.
