Resolution Health was a health care data analytics and services company that used proprietary decision support algorithms to transform data residing in insurers’ computer systems into information that could be used to reduce cost of care and improve quality of care. Customers included health plans/insurers, employers, third party administrators (TPAs), pharmacy benefit management firms (PBMs) and disease management companies.When I took over the company, it was bankrupt with a multi-million dollar per year burn rate. I led it to profitability through substantial revenue growth and improved efficiency and sold it to Wellpoint/Anthem..

- Consulting firm, with pharmaceutical, device, biotech. companies and health care providers and professional societies; insurance companies; and information system vendors as customers- Created and led a new line of business (Quality Assessment and Improvement Systems) that assessed the content, outcomes and quality of care delivered by health care providers- Developed and launched nine disease- or procedure-specific software products and clinical registries for professional societies and manufacturers using this system.- Led teams that developed three HEDIS measures (related to control of hypertension, management of osteoporosis and management of menopause) - Developed methodology for and coordinated a national effort to develop practice guidelines for management of end stage renal disease (ESRD). Based on the KDOQI guidelines we developed, the federal government developed clinical performance measures that are being used to evaluate the quality of care delivered by all dialysis centers in the U.S.
