I work remotely to manage the digital resources of the Ivey Center. This includes the website, the extensive PowerPoint library, the Primary Source handbooks and the Teacher's Resource Guide (forthcoming).• Assure quality of digital materials meets Ivey Center standards and reflects the Cultural Approach • Responsible for creating website/documents using MS Office and Adobe Suite products • Create/Revise PowerPoint presentations • Assemble Primary Source handbooks • Construct "Cultural Approach to History: Teacher's Resource Guide"

Teach PHIL201- Introduction to Philosophy in synchronous and asynchronous environments.• Courses Taught: PHIL 201- Introduction to Philosophy as a synchronous and asynchronous online course • Implement synchronous and asynchronous activities using University-specific technology • Complete grade books, final grade sheets, learning assessments and final exam assessments • Identify and refer at-risk students to specific academic support services • Participate in and provide feedback to institutional committees and reporting • Work with program chair and other appropriate groups on retention activities • Attend regularly scheduled in-services and discipline specific professional development activities • Mentor students through course completion

I mentored groups of high school students to succeed in classes such as History of Art and World History. I managed and distributed a $100k educational grant for the College of Education and Health Professions at Columbus State University, establishing foundation for the launch of the Ivey Center for the Cultural Approach to History and managing the teams for the launching of the inaugural website and publishing the textbook of the Ivey Center.• Manage $100,000 educational grant for Columbus State University, establishing foundation for the launch of the Ivey Center for Teaching the Cultural Approach to History • Responsible for developing and reporting bi-annually on budget and performance • Interfaced with Foundation to assure adherence to their aims and guidelines, and make any necessary adjustments • Oversaw team in planning, developing, populating, and launching of Center website: http://www.culturalapproach.org (new website has since been launched) • Developed Center’s curriculum and media materials • Edited History: A Cultural Approach (2013) and supervised team throughout all stages of writing and publication. • Wrote three chapters for text • Constructed comprehensive PowerPoint presentations for secondary classroom use • Managed staff for planning and execution of Cultural Approach Summer Seminar (June 2011) • Co-managed field seminars for secondary educators in Gettysburg, PA (2011-2013)
