We initially thought it would be just temporary, but our company never regain the momentum we had, and they decided to concentrate on the construction of hotels rather than manage their large portfolio. Earlene was a stellar Regional. Her hotels kept growing on all sales cylinders. She was a great mentor to all her Sales Managers who reported to her. She made my role as the Vice President of Operations and Sales so much easier. She was an astute revenue manager, knew how to go out and find solid business, was a great team leader, and was revered by all of us in the company.
