I grew up in Georgia. I am the oldest of eight children. That's probably why I'm so interested in helping others. My brothers and sisters always seemed to turn to me.I studied business in high school and one year in college. I changed my direction to education after working as a typist at the local board of education and realized I wanted to teach. I received a BA degree in Secondary Education with a major in English at Lee College. I received a Masters Degree in Education at Georgia Southern College where I became a Reading Specialist for grades 1-12.I am truly blessed to have taught so many children. I began teaching English then received my Middle School certification and began teaching the rest of the curriculum. I received my Elementary certification and began teaching the elementary curriculum.I taught Writing for Adult Education for those seeking their GED.I have been very active in my church. I was a Sunday School teacher and I was instrumental in beginning Children's Church.I was the President of our local unitof the Georgia Retired Educators Association and became Retired Educator of the year for our local unit.I am a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).I've been happily married for 48 years. Together we have 3 wonderful children and 3 beautiful grand daughters.I've discovered the secrets to making money on the Internet and enjoy sharing with both old friends and new in building a home business.
