· Provides specific services to children, their parent/guardians/caretakers when the children are removed due to substantiated abuse, neglect, or dependency.· Provide case management services and assists the family with accessing specific services to help family members learn more appropriate behaviors, find safer housing, and make better decisions regarding the child's care and discipline.· Assess needs of children and family and then develop service and intervention plans Investigate referrals for the areas of adoptions, family and children's treatment, foster care, and child protective services· Make home visits and assesses risk· Arrange placements· Prepare for and attend court hearings and conferences on behalf of clients Serve on-call on a rotating basis

Provide on-site administrative oversight to all residential and programmatic activities (including budgetary, property management, personnel, staffing, training and client service issues) connected with the group home(s).Provide on-site programmatic supervision to all home staff and 24-hour emergency supervision and/or back-up coverage for the group home staff to ensure delivery of appropriate client services.Ensure the delivery of direct treatment services according to an individualized service plan and consistent with agency’s model of care.Implement and oversee the delivery of a curriculum of skills, including social, self-help, independent living, and academic skills for the youth served in the home.Develop, to the highest degree possible, a normalized family-style home environment providing counseling, concern, direction, assistance, and support for the youth in care. Regularly seek consultation from appropriate supervisory staff and provide detailed information regarding significant issues affecting youth in care.Ensure the performance of daily operational functions, such as facility cleaning (interior and exterior) and maintenance, cooking, shopping, supplies inventory, and other rotating assignments.Actively monitor all aspects of the physical property. Maintain all property in clean, safe, and attractive manner. Comply with guidelines for property maintenance and management.Coordinate with members of youth’s service team, including parent/guardian, to ensure the provision of services for clients that is consistent with their individual service plans.Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with all program consumers, including but not limited to, youths, parents and families, school personnel, neighbors, referral agencies, administrators, etc.Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality improvement processes, including the collection of program reports, monitoring and outcome data.

•Assist consumer and family to diffuse current crisis situation and reduce recurrence•Ensure linkage to needed community services and resources•Provide self-help and living skills training for youth•Provide parenting skills training to help the family build skills for coping with the youth’s disorder•Monitor and mange the presenting psychiatric symptoms•Work with caregivers in the implementation of home based behavior supports•Provide more intensive services at the beginning of treatment and decrease over time as the youth and family’s coping skills develop•Deliver structured and face-to-face services to provide support and guidance in all areas of functional domains•Accept supervision/training to enhance skills and knowledge in order to have and maintain a working knowledge in relation to job, therapeutic intervention and treatment modalities•Maintain daily documentation•Attend treatment team meeting and other meetings as required•Respond to crisis situations when requested•Adhere to and follow all policies and procedures of agency•Comply with all state, federal, division, and agency requirements as related to medical records and documentation.

•Educate, consult and negotiate with other human service agencies, both public and private, concerning admission and treatment.•Work in collaboration with other members of the treatment team and community agencies in order to coordinate and provide integrated treatment services to the client.•Provide at least 25 hours per week of assistance to clients in order to meet their self-sufficiency plan.•Plan for need/problem resolution through identification of an appropriate service network inclusive of all available resources.•Function as an advocate for the client•Provide skill building activities to include activities of daily and community living skills; socialization skills, adaption skills, symptom management skills, wellness education, education on substance abuse, work readiness, leisure time interest development, behavior and anger management techniques.•SAIOP/SACOT Group counseling to help clients to understand ways they can enhance their lives.•Observe urine drug screens•Provide documentation through clinical records for services rendered
