Earl's Workshop is the Artful practice of Architecture & Urban Design and his mission is to craft well integrated places where people love to be. Over the past 20+ years, his work has focused on the design of new cities and districts in developing countries, the revitalization of post-industrial and design of new waterfronts, the creation of mixed-use transit-oriented developments, improving downtown business districts and streetscapes, and elevating the identity and quality of life at college and corporate campuses. After Superstorm Sandy, Earl was one of the leaders that helped shape today's industry focused on resilient design. His integrated approach to the design of architecture, infrastructure, and the public realm stresses the value of creating beauty in functional solutions to development in the face of climate change and sea level rise. At a time of great challenges due to the global pandemic, a heightened awareness of racial injustice, and widening gaps in socio-economic strata, Earl is mindful of his workshop's responsibility to maintain an agile role in creating positive change in the world.
