About Earnestine Johnson, Pmp

My career started briefly in utilities in T&D and chemical plant code troubleshooting in a co-op capacity; as a new engineer, started work in the nuclear industry at a nuclear power plant with Stone & Webster working on unresolved design issues. I worked outside of nuclear on chemical plant modifications and design additions then moved briefly to manufacturing to learn another nuclear technology's design for troubleshooting issues that developed during the manufacturing process (sorry, classified!). A short lived endeavor as I had to be closer to home in the South for family at that time.I worked as a facilities engineer for the Department of Veteran's Admin on hvac design and construction of specialty rooms (rooms for patients with special needs, such as those requiring a controlled air environment or loading requirements for heavy specialty equipment). After some time, I was able to go back to the nuclear power industry locally to work in researching solutions for plant issues and initial design concepts, project costs and planning; moved to components/programs for air operated valve margin calc development for actuator/valve capacities for DBA scenarios and finally got to new nuclear plant design at Bechtel for large light water reactor (focused on designing water systems) and later small modular reactor plant layout designs (focus on designing desalination then waste processing systems) and now back to utilities working on just a specialty topic of containment leakage and standardization innovations of the program fleetwide. For fun on my own time, I renovate or manage renovations of old buildings into something special! I am co-developer and have been co-owner/ financial officer of Outside the Box Business Center LLC and Battlefield Bicycle LLC for the past 4 years!Where can I go from here? ...looking for that next adventure in major project management in 2022 now that the credential is out of the way!!!
