• Worked with over twenty Chrysler engineers, Project Chiefs (PC’s), and Project Responsibles (PR’s) to ensure change notices (CN’s) were pulled, processed, and decisioned to meet CN cut-off dates and overall program.
• Worked with over two dozen Tier 1, 2, & 3 suppliers to provide timely cost and timing information for CN’s, provide price and tooling breakdowns to Component Cost Analysis (CCA), resolve issues with the Change Notice.
• Ran daily and weekly CN meetings with engineers, PC’s, and PR’s.
• Addressed and handled 190 total CN’s for Chassis and Engine Systems.
• Achieved 100% completion on all S1A (and earlier), S1B, and S2A CN’s for Chassis and Engine Systems.

• Key member of small team responsible for homologating Korean built vehicles for first-time certification and import into the United States for the Saturn brand under proposed new ownership.
• Developed the fuel system, exhaust system, and emissions development timelines to reduce development time and ensure a proposed launch of the lead vehicle during the 1st quarter of 2011.
• Co-developed the emissions certification plans and methodology for both Federal and California emissions.
• Direct liaison with EPA and CARB for all certification/regulatory issues and future emissions certification applications.
• Reviewed all current, new, and proposed emissions regulations for any impacts to the emissions development and certification process.

• Plant Vehicle Engineer responsible for brakes, frames, mounts, exhaust, fuel systems, chassis controls, and powertrain hardware at the Warren Truck Assy. Plant (WTAP).
• Responded to and resolved all engineering related issues associated with the above vehicle systems.
• Diagnosed in-vehicle and in-system quality issues (parts & process) associated with the above vehicle systems on the assembly line and on newly built vehicles in the plant.

• Full responsibility for the design, packaging, testing, production release, and launch of the LX (Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum, and Dodge Charger) and 98 LH (Chrysler Concorde, Chrysler LHS, Chrysler 300M, and Dodge.
• Primary team member that developed the first commercial OEM passive exhaust system for Chrysler’s Multi-Displacement System (cylinder deactivation) – system did not require an active tuning valve or device.
• Regularly participated in vehicle/powertrain NVH/BSR evaluations with Vehicle Development and NVH Lab.
• Developed the first full-system durability rig test for exhaust systems at Chrysler to replace/supplement complete vehicle durability testing, together with the Tier 1 supplier and outside testing supplier.
• Coordinated all prototype and development orders including ordering of parts, prototype builds, and catalyst aging.

• Coordinated initial design and packaging of the 1999 MY DN101 powertrains with the various engineering and planning activities (Chassis Eng., Powertrain Eng., ELD, etc.).
• Coordinated the building and testing of electrically heated catalyst (EHC) and equal length exhaust system demonstration vehicles with the various engineering activities and Watson Engineering, Taylor, MI.

• Certification Testing Department - Automotive Emissions & Fuel Economy Office
• Organized and supervised a quality analysis team to reduce emission test variability at the Certification Test Laboratory (CTL).
• Coordinated the equipment modifications and developed a test procedure to perform GCC emissions certification on cell #3 at CTL.
• Developed a new method for performing SHED hydrocarbon retention checks based on a critical flow orifice (CFO) in an effort to enhance lab safety and test reliability at CTL.

• Surveillance and Compliance Department - Automotive Emissions & Fuel Economy Office
• Analyzed EPA’s proposed Federal Implementation Plan (FIP) for California to determine the mobile source issues concerning Ford Motor Company and help develop a corporate plan of actions on these issues.
• Performed an analysis of a Ford IM240 testing program to determine the effects of preconditioning on IM240 emissions testing.

• Issued emission test requests and wrote parts change notices (PCN's) for Ford emission certification vehicles to ensure the proper timing of the emissions certification process.
• Performed a study to quantify the certification program timing improvements resulting from the implementation of a "Red Tag" (Priority) Vehicle Program.

• Contract Position at Chrysler CorporationResponsible for the exhaust system on the 95JA program (Chrysler Cirrus and Dodge Stratus).
• Attempted to resolve significant 100,000 mile durability concerns with a new exhaust system flexible joint design for the 1995 JA program as a contract employee member of the LCP chassis exhaust systems engineering team.
• Directly worked with the exhaust system, flex joint, and isolator suppliers to resolve design and program timing issues.
• Coordinated data acquisition and videotaping projects on the flex joint at the Chelsea, MI proving grounds.
