Having served in both Senate and House Republican Leadership offices, I have a wealth of knowledge on legislative procedure and provides strategic advice on a diverse portfolio of issues for major corporations, trade associations and coalitions, including telecommunications, technology, energy, and healthcare.

I led coalition efforts for Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska in her capacity as Vice Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference. In addition to working with other Senate Republican Leadership offices on a daily basis, I served as a liaison with the business community and outside groups to strengthen relationships with Senate Republicans among a diverse set of coalitions.

I served as a senior advisor for then House Republican Whip Roy Blunt of Missouri where I worked on building issue coalitions with business industry groups, trade associations, corporations, and interest groups on behalf of the House Republican Leadership. This role provided me the opportunity to continue to develop and solidify my extensive relationships and further strengthen my strong grasp on legislative procedure and process in the House.

As Chief of Staff, I was in charge of the daily leadership of the Washington office and operations, including oversight of the legislative agenda, personnel and budget, and other activities relevant to the Congresswoman's duties.

As Legislative Director I oversaw the Congresswoman's tenure as Chairman of the House Republican Study Committee as well as her role as a Deputy Whip. Additionally, I staffed her work on the House Rules Committee and later the Energy and Commerce Committee with a focus on energy, telecommunications and health care issues.
