CurrentA leading Financial Service organisation specialized in Insurance products for Life, Medical, Income protection, Travel and other corporate Insurance, working partnership with blue-chip financial service groups to cover EMEA, US, Fareast, Dubai, Australia, India territories. Key Responsibilities: Manage month end process, preparation of monthly management accounts, yearend accounts and audit preparation based on UK GAAP. Present monthly and quarterly reports to the senior management including analysis of trend, margin, commissions share, variances and support with business review process. Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting (rolling) of expenditure and capital items and support the senior management with the strategy business planning process.Tracking costs and process allocations to various products and identify areas of cot saving and increasing profitability. As part of the project committee, represent finance, monitoring CAPEX and operational projects’ costs and challenging project expenses against budgets and forecasts.Comply with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies and procedures, i.e. FCA reportingManage multi-currency bank accounts, cash flow planning and administer appropriate banks’ signatory mandates. Manage part of the team members, allocate tasks and objectives, train and develop and review performance.Key achievements:Developed simplified process of monthly and quarterly reporting of products’ profitability analysis for presentation to the senior management.Developed efficient and automated international payment process with combination of setting up multiple Bank BACS system and validation process. Key involvement with the company projects, i.e. coordinate external consultants and senior management, test reports and analysis with the view to open up efficient use of Business Planning and decision support.
