Kia ora, I'm Eason. I am curious about how AI and the use of social media can influence the digital marketing space as well as how databases can be used to help streamline complex information. I am interested in Marketing and Information Systems and would like to provide valuable, constructive insights to help businesses reach new audiences and overcome obstacles.I attend the University of Auckland, studying for a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and Information Systems. Through studying commerce, I have been able to pick up information in accordance with my majors, and have begun developing my soft skills that will assist in the workforce. Alongside my studies, I have participated and continue to participate in various extracurricular activities that have helped to nurture my leadership and teamwork during my academic journey. Notable extracurricular activities I have participated in include being on the executive committee of well-known clubs with hundreds to thousands of active members that vary in background and member base.My professional experience consists of a background in retail. This experience has taught me valuable universal skills such as teamwork, leadership, handling pressure and communication. The different roles within retail have also introduced me to technical skills that align with certain positions, such as inventory management, visual merchandising, management and sales.I am to work and learn somewhere where I am able to interact and connect with clients or even businesses to help them grow and connect with bigger and wider audiences. I would also love to work towards taking on leadership roles while being adaptive and proactive to the evolving work environment. In the future, I wish to create work environments that support each individual's journey while delivering results that can benefit everyone.Outside of developing myself professionally, I enjoy indulging in my hobbies such as dance, gaming and content creation. I have recently developed an interest in the gym but working it into my busy schedule seems to a quite the mission.
