CurrentEa is currently the Artistic Director of Daloy Dance Company. In July 2014, she became the recipient of Alvin Erasga Tolentino Koreograpiya Award. A member World Dance Alliance- Philippines, Ea participated in The South East Asia ChoreoLab in Malaysia, M1 Contemporary Dance Festival 2014 in Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City International Dance Festival 2014, in Vietnam.Among the full-length dance productions she directed and choreographed are; Dots in September 2013, Nga-nga (presented at KARNABAL: A Def. Defying Festival) and Dysmorphilia (presented at Imaginarium: A Multi-arts Festival of the Absurd), Canton and Himalaya (both premiered at FRINGE MANILA ARTS FESTIVAL 2015).Sisa and Filipinas are commissioned works for The Lopez Museum and Library’s exhibit, ‘Complicated’, from February-August 2014.She was a finalist at the WIFI BODY New Choreographers’ Competition in 2008 for her work, The Overture. This led to several commissions to choreograph: The Legs She Never Had in 2ndStep of WIFI BODY FESTIVAL 2009; Two of You in Ballet Philippines’ Neo-Filipino 2010: Dance in a Time of Change; Dog Days Are Over, for E-dance Theatre Co., Mga Babae, and Forgiving Bathsheba and Touch for Contemporary Dance Map Gala in 2011 and 2012. She had choreographed for Seven Contemporary Dance Company in their production, Lust and in Tanghalang Ateneo’s play, Middle Finger.She is now working on Unearthing, a work-in-progress that was first developed and shown at KARNABAL FESTIVAL : PERFORMANCE AND SOCIAL INNOVATIONS 2015.
