I am a 2015 graduate of Roanoke College pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I graduated with a minor in psychology and a concentration in neuroscience. I am currently working as a scribe in salem, va and have greatly enjoyed the exposure to the medical field. I am continuously thinking about the future and the contributions that I want to give to society through my field. I have worked numerous years with a variety of lab equipment like GCMS and NMR equipment, and have experience in the Chemistry field as well. I am also an excellent communicator in and out of the classroom. I have worked for three months as a Summer camp counselor and have learned to adapt to any and all environments, including working with young adults ages 10-18 in the outdoors. I am also an Eagle Scout with The Boy Scouts of America and achieved that award through hours of work in the outdoors and thorough communication with advisers and peers. Similarly, I have experience working as a teacher assistant in a first year level biology class and very much enjoyed assisting others in the lab and working with the professors.Overall, I have a wide variety of experience, enjoy taking on new challenges, and working with others to achieve goals bigger than myself.
