Manufacturing Engineering Leadership: Spearheading a team of 9 to successfully run manufacturing & assembling operations of dental sterilizers by timely identifying & troubleshooting processes, materials & equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.2. Manufacturing & Re-Work Plans & Instructions: Developed and reviewed manufacturing instructions for three products. Standardized workflows and manufacturing processes & procedures to reduce process variability and optimize production. 3. Engineering Change Request & Order (ECR/ECO): Executing ECR, ECO and TDN processes to implement engineering changes and continuous improvements, including scrap or cost reduction.4. Jigs/Fixtures Design & Inspection Test Procedures (ITPs): Designing & developing tools, jigs, and fixtures for production to standardize and control the manufacturing process and make them more efficient.5. Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA): Conduct & review PFMEA of new products and improve existing documentation.6. 5S & Lean Manufacturing Practices: Implemented and audited 5S activities on the production floor, and trained people from other departments on the importance of implementing 5S.7. Waste Reduction & Continuous Improvement: Successfully identified and eliminated source of defects to reduce re-work and re-designed the product harness to minimize product failures.8. Lean & Kaizen Coaching: As the change agent, driving continuous improvement mindset and training shop floor staff on Lean & Kaizen methodologies.9. Project Management: Leading SciCan’s project of IC-Track related to manufacturing and suggested the related departments make the product more suitable for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) with the line setup and process validation.10. Sourcing & Vendor Management: Successfully identified alternate vendor for vacuum cups to reduce equipment cost and regularly coordinating with vendors and suppliers and issued requisitions for tools and equipment used in production.
