Interprets legal requirements of safety and health aspects of applicable guidelines and regulations, and initiates actions for correction of deficiencies. Evaluates and conducts both employee and customer comprehensive accident investigations. Conducts annual Branch Safety Evaluations, prepares detailed reports, assists Branch management with action plan development and conducts follow-up until complete. Conducts customer and employee training for aerial work platform, fork-lift, train the trainer, first aid and CPR. Completes regional customer safety surveys/questionnaires. Prepares Region Accident Trend Analysis, assists in accident trends analysis with Region, recommends prevention strategies and communicates to employees.

My responsibilities include the daily delivery of packages in my assigned area which entails the sorting of packages, cross checking scanned in packages to make sure that the manifest is accurate, loading packages in order, and maintaining accurate records for the automated tracking system.

Receive emergency calls for police, fire and ambulance; determine the nature, location and priority of the emergency and dispatch emergency units through computer-aided dispatching software per department procedures. I would also coordinate emergency situations with multiple agencies (i.e. Highway Patrol, neighboring police departments, S.W.A.T. and Life Flight helicopter). Updating computer files, processing and maintaining reports, records, files and retrieving sensitive information from Teletype network.
