Designed, architected, and installed a smart door control automation system primarily focused on the car wash industry. The system consists of an IoT device (the brains) that runs and automates the door system of the site. The system can be viewed and updated from anywhere. The main control is hosted on Azure, using a web app, web api, IoT Hub, and AD B2C for user security.

I am currently working on a Silverlight application for the Quality group, to allow users to request testing on transmitters that are manufactured in the Chanhassen plant. The Application uses Silverlight 4.0, RIA Services and Entity Framework for database access. MVVM pattern for the silverlight application.Created multithreaded MSMQ messaging service for guaranteed delivery of data from the test systems to the backend DB. Created two WPF Kiosk apps for users to checkin the devices for testing, and one for the testers to check out the devices. Integrated SAS reports into the silverlight app.Currently Creating/Updating a WinForms App to run on all the test stations that reports test results from Devices back to the DB, where results can be seen using the above silverlight app. The winforms app talks to devices and instruments currently using HART, GPIB, Modbus and Fieldbus protocols.

Developed a light weight multithreaded Client application that runs as a service on win9x, NT/2000 with high-speed direct database access to an AS/400 host. This application executes and monitors tasks created by the host and stored in a database. This application also utilizes the MS ATL framework to communicate between modules and allows user to communicate with the programs external APIýs using MS COM. Some of the capabilities include: making registry changes, starting/stopping NT services, and restarting the systems to name a few things.
