2005-present Plainfield Pixley Richards Plymouth MaTool Room Apprentice Mold maintenance training consisting of disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembling of plastic injection molds for the automotive, medical and electronics industries. The Tool room training includes supervised task’s using all of the shop equipment as outlined here: 1. Print reading (32 hours) 2. Precision measuring instrument reading / decimal system (80 hours) 3. Tool steel type, hardness and usage (20 hours) 4. Machine set up and technique (80 hours) 5. Surface grinding / wet grinding (160 hours) 6. Milling machine (160 hours) 7. Lathe operation (80 hours) 8. Drill press (32 hours) 9. Cut off saw (16 hours) 10. CNC electrical discharge machining / electrode making (160 hours) 11. Electrical discharge machining (wire machine) (160 hours) 12. Welding (T.I.G.) (160 hours) All training taught and supervised by experienced Tool room staff. Training program is overseen by Tool room manager. Responsibilities also include entries of all tasks performed in a log book. The log will include the date, task, and machining operation, number of hours for each machining operation. Training of all ISO9000/TS16949 procedures as applies to the Tool room personnel.2003-2005 Melia Fuel Marshfield MaOil Burner Technician Installation of all oil fired heating systems. Installation and removal of oil tanks. On call service for repairs. Preventative maintenance including clean outs and replacement components. Installation of HVAC units.2000-2003 Plainfield Pixley Richards Plymouth MaMold Prep Technician Disassemble, clean and reassemble injection molds. Analyze and report damage or condition of molds and equipment. Replace broken components (from an inventory of spare components) and reassemble molds. Responsible for proper care of toolroom equipment Responsible to maintain a safe and clean work area.
