    Many years of experience in the commercial nuclear power industry (including 10 years during construction / startup / system turnover / transitioning from ASME III to ASME XI at 5 nuclear Units) as a degreed Mechanical Engineer, plant/test engineer, work order reviewer, design engineer, project manager, marketing/business developer and contracts manager. Nuclear experience has included Start-Up and/or Operational support for all four of the different designs of light-water-cooled reactors, both PWRs and BWRs, operating in the US, i.e., Westinghouse, Combustion Engineering, Babcock & Wilcox, and General Electric. Worked with architect-engineering / construction firms including Bechtel, Fluor, Shaw, Ebasco, Sargent & Lundy, American Electric Power, and TVA. Interfaced with the ANI / ANII on ASME III / XI issues, such as ASME III and ASME XI work orders and repair/replacement packages at multiple plants. Have been granted unescorted security access at 15 commercial nuclear power plants at several major utility companies including Southern Nuclear, Entergy, TVA, Exelon, and Progress.Main technical responsibilities have included the development and implementation of ASME XI Code programs, including Preservice and Inservice Inspection (system classifications, weld/bolt/hanger inspections, pressure testing, hydraulic and mechanical snubbers, Containment IWE/IWL (metal/concrete and tendon) inspection and testing), Inservice Testing (IST) of pumps, motors, turbines, and valves, including check valves and safety valves, Repair/Replacement (design, procurement, maintenance and modification work orders, welding, materials, Alloy 600 “Inconel” issues, post-modification testing, Extended Power Uprate (EPU) modifications, Steam Generator Replacement, Dry Cask Storage Projects for spent fuel (fabrication and inspections), and Vibration Analysis of rotating machinery (turbines, pumps, motors, compressors, and fans). Wrote Non-Destructive Testing (NDT/NDE) procedures.
