Ebenezer Asiedu, better known as Eben, is a biomedical research scientist, teacher, and champion for research capacity-building. He graduated from the University of Cape Coast in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. Following his graduation, he served as a bioinformatics research analyst in Dr. Alexander Kwarteng's group at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology until 2022. He then joined the Van Andel Institute (VAI) Graduate School for his PhD training.Eben is currently pursuing his PhD thesis in the Krawczyk Lab within the Department of Metabolism and Nutritional Programming at VAI. His work focuses on the metabolic mechanisms underpinning dendritic cell immune functions, with the ultimate goal of identifying strategies to potentiate dendritic cell activities for more effective cancer vaccines.
