Doing IT/OT integration for AECI head office and heading up the digitalization of our manufacturing sites. The duties are:REVIEW: Conduct an initial assessment audit to understand the status of AECI's Operational Technology (OT), Industrial control systems and Other internet protocol devices not connected to the traditional group IT networks.REPORT: Classify the findings according to their inefficiency and risk to AECI and create a comprehensive list of recommendations to mitigate those risks and improve overall business performance.PLAN: Prioritise which recommendations to apply and develop a detailed, step-by-step plan that covers how to resolve the issues.IMPLEMENT: Once the standards, implementation plans, budgets and associated scheduling are approved, execute the steps int he plant. MAINTAIN: Ongoing and active maintenance must be set in place to ensure that the plant floor continues to run smoothly from an operation and security standpoint.

Currently the manager of the New DCS upgrade project taking place over the entire nitrates complex and the technical support person for the energy savings team. Contribute to a site wide optimisation through applying good theoretical background and good chemical engineering principles.I also help with production related problems and the general upkeep of the plants at the Nitrates complex. I look at plant's performance and constantly help with problem solving if plant's performances go low or is not within spec. I'am also actively using my Professional Engineering Licence with various plant equipment and projects relating to processing steps to get the projects installed and correctly done.

Taking over the responsibilities of the technical quality manager of nitrates while he does special projects. I am running the technical department that oversees all plant related issues concerning production and quality. I am still doing project management as part of my previous roll in the company while using the team to more focus on improvement and optimization projects that have been overlooked.
