Project Manager
Current- Oversee multiple high-impact PennDOT projects from initiation to completion.- Ensure that projects are executed in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues or delays.- Work closely with subcontractors, contractors, department representatives, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities.- Foster strong working relationships to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that work progresses as per the established timelines.- Modify the project by submitting Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed. Address changes and clarify project requirements, create as-built plans if necessary.- Implement necessary adjustments to the schedule to accommodate changing project requirements.- Prepare and file project-related paperwork, including permits, reports, and documentation required by PennDOT.- Maintain accurate records of project status, expenses, and other relevant data.- Attend project meetings and provide updates on the project's progress and performance.- Ensure that all project activities adhere to the proposed plans, specifications, publications, and contract special provisions.- Supervise project budgets, track expenses, and manage cost control effectively.- Identify potential project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.- Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity.- Effectively manage and communicate project changes to stakeholders, ensuring that project scope and objectives are adjusted as necessary.- Lead, motivate, and mentor project teams to ensure they work cohesively and deliver quality results.
