I am a serial Internet entrepreneur since 1995. I grow companies and build products for the mobile Internet. As a web pioneer, I have been a consultant, web developer, and speaker at Internet industry conferences. I call Palo Alto, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, my home.My story begins in 1995 with my first Internet startup, Web Broadcasting Corporation. As founder and CEO, I was responsible for all aspects of building an early-stage Internet company developing and selling one of the first commercial middleware products for the world-wide web. My product, WEBFM, enabled web developers to easily create and deploy data-driven web sites using the popular FileMaker Pro database program. Building this middleware product required a technical understanding of web server and database API's, the HTTP protocol, and HTML specifications. In early 2000 I joined KeyAssets Inc. as company co-founder and Chief Technical Officer. I was responsible for building the company's online open marketplace for the disposition and auction of high value used semiconductor equipment. I managed a team responsible for the prototyping, production, and deployment of the company's e-commerce web site. KeyAssets Inc. was successfully sold in 2006 to the public company Babcock & Brown. My current position is CEO of the Internet cloud service company MacWeb.com. I am responsible for strategic and operational management of the company's Internet cloud service providing on-demand compute capacity using dedicated Mac mini computers.
