Supply Chain Technician I
•Prepares equipment, such as surgical supplies, instruments, and soft goods for medical staff in an accurate and timely manner.•Performs inventory management by evaluating stock levels and documenting inventory data, which includes surgical supplies, instruments, and soft goods that are distributed to medical staff.•Maintains Quality Control (QC) of products to improve package integrity and the quality of supplies, by monitoring shelf life and sterility of supplies.•Conducts routine cycle counts and inventory control to minimize stock discrepancies.•Maintains inventory stock, performs data entry, and scans documents into database systems. •Validates incoming orders received from suppliers and compares the information on the packing slip with the purchase order to verify the accuracy of the delivered items.•Provides exceptional customer service to all hospital staff and immediate equipment preparation for emergency procedures or items requested.•Participates in new employee training and mentoring by providing guidance on the expectations and responsibilities for their position.
