- I was part of the foundational team within AWS Networking that operated like a startup to successfully launch AWS Outposts in 2020, the first of its kind "hybrid cloud" product offering, that enables customers to run AWS services on-premises. My focus was business logic related to Outposts remote installation process, network design for multi-rack Outposts and taking a PoC through lab testing to production design. This role involved partnering with counterparts in EC2 networking team to test, identify and resolve critical issues prior to launch, partnering with product teams to identify high priority features, partnering with customer support teams to create support playbooks, and working with on ground teams for improving install process. - From 2018 to 2019, I worked with the Regional Border Engineering team that focussed primarily on NAR (Network Availability Risks) with this space, served as escalation point for the Network Operations team, and as well as owning engineering for existing network designs. - From 2017 to 2018, I worked with the Network Reliability and Optimization team, primarily supporting the Border network which involves AWS global backbone, Internet Peering and Transit, as well as regional connectivity between data-center and global backbone networks.
