I shared my expertise on Wellcome's Infectious Disease Campaign Advisory Group as one of 10 passionate and energised campaigners that shaped and informed Wellcome’s infectious disease campaigning approach, which had a real impact on the decisions made by Wellcome’s Campaigns Team. The advisory group utilised the diverse experience of its members to provide an external review, check and challenge on Wellcome’s infectious disease campaigning. Each month, we provided feedback and input on all aspects of Wellcome’s campaign development and implementation and how it could be made more impactful, equitable and innovative.

Leadership and management of the Safe & Secure (SainEtSur) Campaign / Power up Health and Immunization (PuHI) project that developed the Back to Doc podcast, implemented the 33 Days to Power Up campaign and CSOs funding, developed the Voice for NewVax proposal, disseminated the podcast on radio/TV/social media, managed the cohort of over 80 CSOs from 10 African countries committed to activities that increase immunization confidence, and ensured timely quality project documentation / reporting.

Program coordination and supervision of 5 Senior managers in the Operations, Security, and Stakeholder Relations & Supply-Side units, to ensure successful implementation of the conditional cash transfers (CCTs) for routine immunization program. In this role, the organization completed the RCT phase of program implementation and expanded programming from 98 clinics to 713 clinics with over 300 Nigerian staff. All Babies Are Equal Initiative (ABAE) is the Nigerian arm of US Organization, New Incentives (NI). NI-ABAE implements a conditional cash transfers for routine immunization (CCTs for RI) program. It utilizes a package of evidence-based interventions including community mobilization, sensitization, and conditional cash transfer (CCT) to bring about positive health behavioral change. A Randomized Control Trial (RCT) impact evaluation found out that NI-ABAE’s program increased immunization coverage in children; 16 percentage points increase in coverage of BCG vaccine, 21 percentage points increase in coverage of Pentavalent vaccine, 14 percentage points increase in coverage of Measles vaccine, and 27 percentage points increase in fully immunized (BCG, Penta 1-3, and Measles) children. As the Senior Stakeholder Manager, I led a small team of 5 staff who managed stakeholders at the state, zonal and federal level involved in the implementation of the CCTs for RI program in Jigawa, katsina, and Zamfara States. In this role, the organization signed memoranda of understanding with the federal government of Nigeria through the Ministry of Budget and National Planning (MBNP), the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) and National Social Safety-nets Coordination Office (NASSCO) in addition to MOUs with the States.
