In this role, the organization completed the RCT phase of program implementation and expanded programming from 98 clinics to 713 clinics with over 300 Nigerian staff. All Babies Are Equal Initiative (ABAE) is the Nigerian arm of US Organization, New Incentives (NI). NI-ABAE implements a conditional cash transfers for routine immunization (CCTs for RI) program. It utilizes a package of evidence-based interventions including community mobilization, sensitization, and conditional cash transfer (CCT) to bring about positive health behavioral change. A Randomized Control Trial (RCT) impact evaluation found out that NI-ABAE’s program increased immunization coverage in children; 16 percentage points increase in coverage of BCG vaccine, 21 percentage points increase in coverage of Pentavalent vaccine, 14 percentage points increase in coverage of Measles vaccine, and 27 percentage points increase in fully immunized (BCG, Penta 1-3, and Measles) children.
