I am currently interning at Valley Bank as a Talent Management intern where I have a so far, an incredible learning experience. It has so far offered me a unique glimpse into the inner working of a dynamic and forward-thinking financial institution in the HR department. I've had the opportunity to dive deep into various aspects of talent management where I have been assisting in the recruitment process to help design and implement employee development for the Valley Intern program as well as the Retail Banking roles. I have gained more knowledge of strategic planning in attracting and retaining top talent and incredible interns and the critical role of employee engagement in fostering a positive workplace culture. I have enhanced my skills in understanding the value and mission of Valley Bank, data analysis, project management, and communication.As a former Service Manager at Chipotle Mexican Grill, I lead a team of 20+ employees and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring customer satisfaction, food quality, and safety standards. I have been with Chipotle for over six years and have been promoted twice for my outstanding performance and dedication. In my role, I am responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff, as well as managing inventory, payroll, and budgets. I have successfully increased sales, reduced turnover, and improved customer feedback by implementing new initiatives and best practices.I am also a 2023 graduate student at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, pursuing a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. I am passionate about understanding human behavior and motivation and applying that knowledge to create positive and productive work environments. I have completed courses in organizational psychology, labor relations, diversity and inclusion, and performance management, among others. I am eager to apply my academic skills and knowledge to real-world challenges and opportunities in the HR field.
