A highly effective professional with 15+ years of experience in the educational sector. I am a skilled and passionate yoga, meditation and dance instructor, knowledgeable in leading engaging and dynamic classes, in addition to developing and implementing evidence-based programs. I have always been interested in wellness and movement of the body. Throughout my career as Head Dance Director in the K-12 education sector, I have combined technical expertise, strong communication skills, and mentorship to develop students. Additionally, I have developed and delivered training initiatives for dance teachers, resulting in increased dancer satisfaction, improved technique, and elevated performance levels. I designed and facilitated engaging training sessions that empowered students to enhance their artistry and overall wellness, while excelling in their craft. I have been practicing yoga for the past 7 years and I am passionate about helping my students find balance in their practice and in life. My classes focus on breath, movement and alignment, and often include elements of meditation. I teach primarily Vinyasa, Power, and Restorative styles. I also offer private classes and workshops. I am a Certified Yoga Instructor, also trained in Pre-Natal, Social Emotional Learning, and Meditation. I am also experienced in curriculum development and instructional design. In the past, I have successfully developed a comprehensive dance and wellness curriculum catering to students of all ages and skill levels, resulting in heightened student satisfaction, achievement and overall wellness. I specialize in creating engaging and effective yoga and dance training programs that enhance performance and overall wellness. My mission is to inspire and empower individuals to cultivate a harmonious and balanced life through the transformative practices of yoga, dance, and wellness.
