CurrentProvide valuable teaching and learning experiences and role model safe patient care using evidence-based practice to new techs.• Maintain an adequate level of supplies and instruments for use by the facility.• Demonstrate safe operation of equipment and machinery and follow procedures for reporting andcorrecting unsafe situations.• Participate in Quality Improvement and Mandatory education/training programs.• Specialized in applying and teaching techs on casting and splinting.• Provide mentorship and guidance to new techs to promote their professional growth and development.• Provide regular feedback and evaluations to new techs to help them improve their skills and enhancepatient care.• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and smooth patient care processes.• Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program for newtechs, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively train and mentor new techs.• Follow prescribed techniques for producing general and specific x-rays for a range of clinical tasks,including preparing patients, machines, rooms, equipment, and materials for x-ray.• Efficiently assist medical providers by performing a range of administrative and clinical tasks, includingcompleting check-in processes and collecting patient balances.• Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic tests, such as eye exams, electrocardiography, pulseoximetry, peak flow/spirometry, inhalation treatment equipment, IV's and blood draws.• Engage in patient-centered communication, including discussing patient balances, explainingprocedures and treatments, and providing immediate service recovery for unsatisfied patients.• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies to attract new patients to theurgent care facility, leveraging digital marketing platforms and targeted advertising.
