In my position I am committed to providing a nurturing and caring environment to ensure that each student is provided with a quality opportunity in education, regardless or race and ethnic background. It is our goal to help disadvantaged students overcome academic and financial barriers in higher education, in an effort to assist families in finding the "BEST FIT" institution for their student.

Conduct psycho-social assessments on all clients; provide in-home parenting education to teen parents; provide information on parent-child interaction, family well-being, child development, protective factors; assist families with creating and reaching personal goals; provide referrals to community resources; conduct developmental, health, vision, and hearing screenings; input detailed specifics of client interaction in the home visiting database; coordinate monthly group events for all clients to meet other teen parents in their community, to collectively discuss parenting experiences, and to learn in depth about benefits/ topics that several clients have asked about (i.e. Medicaid, WIC, SNAP)
