At GOL, Ebony leads Strategic Growth and Operations with a focus on building processes and infrastructures that will anchor and enhance Grads of Life’s operational excellence and advisory practice. Specifically she:-- Partners with the GOL Founder & Managing Director, Senior Team, and broader Year Up leadership to scale organizational work and impact; review organizational performance and make decisions to guide operational direction.-- Leverages extensive experience and expertise to provide thought leadership, insights, and guidance to clients and staff.-- Effectively structures and enables GOL's client services work, including sales and delivery; apply a growth mindset on broadening GOL's “go to market” approach; expand the advisory value proposition and service offerings delivered to clients.-- Develops and executes against the GOL advisory services strategy, with a focus on business development, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.-- Builds processes and infrastructures to support the employer consulting practice; identify and implement process improvement efforts.-- Leads the business modeling process to ensure appropriate staffing, systems, cost/revenue targets, processes, and tools are in place to drive impact and increase revenue.

Ms. Thomas is part of the Health Market within Booz Allen's Civilian Services Group . She is regarded as a thought leader, advisor, and key contributor to the development of strategic business solutions and recommendations. She leads simultaneous project engagements, manages and maintains client relationships, and develops nearly 70 direct reports. She has an extensive background supporting multiple functions including Strategic Planning, Change Management, Performance Management, Organizational Design, and Business Development as well as Data Synthesis, Cost Optimization, Budgeting, and Reporting. Her deep expertise in these areas has allowed Ms. Thomas to consistently deliver proven results across a plethora of projects that have resolved some of her client’s most challenging problems.-- Strategic Planning: Improve, refine, and create strategies and strategy management processes that can be integrated into daily operations to drive mission execution and accountability. She holds a Balanced Scorecard Certification.-- Change Management: Provide expertise to support clients in comprehending complex business changes and convey changes to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. Develop user adoption strategies to anchor the understanding of major organizational changes. She is a certified Change Management Practitioner.-- Performance Management: Develop metric portfolios and dashboards to address progress and performance against organizational strategies; implement course corrections and program eliminations based on data results.-- Business Development: Support business development through the management of proposals, the authoring of white papers, and the development of intellectual capital that can be leveraged to attract and secure additional business.

While at Kindred Healthcare, Ms. Thomas assisted the Chief Executive Officers of six Kindred hospitals in the Dallas/Fort Worth region in providing recommendations for managing the financial and operational activities of their facilities. She spearheaded the planning of long and short term business and quality of care objectives across each of the six hospitals. She also identified synergies to improve budget tracking, the admissions process, contract negotiations, and target marketing.

During her time at Fannie Mae, Ms. Thomas was responsible for developing and managing corporate expense plans and providing consulting support to Fannie Mae’s internal business lines. She enforced SOX Compliance controls on business activity, quantified potential risks to achieving plan to aid the Capital Markets’ CFO, translated monthly financials into succinct, high level reporting structures for senior management, and monitored, analyzed and explained company performance. Her total budget responsibility was $208M.

Ms. Thomas oversaw the preparation and planning of annual financial budgets and recurring forecasts at FINRA (formerly National Association of Securities Dealers - NASD). She critiqued historical forecasting methods and recommended quantitative approaches to improve the accuracy of fiscal predictions. In addition to duties around forecasting and budgeting, she provided a basis for sound financial decision making by generating a series of monthly client relationship metrics for senior business leaders.

While at Goldman Sachs, Ms. Thomas performed extensive quantitative and strategic analyses over a broad range of global equity market issues for the Equities Division. She worked on a team to introduce a commercial performance metric to quantify business activity with priority clients and provided logistical support for both the Pan European sales force in London as well as the US Shares sales force in America. Ms. Thomas also had the opportunity to work on a company acquisition where she participated in multiple analyses to support the decision to maintain or close certain offices. Ms. Thomas was a previously registered representative with FINRA (NASD) Series 7 and 63 certifications.
