I have over 9 years of experience working in the Dietary Department at Menorah Center for Rehab and Nursing Care in Brooklyn, New York. I started as a Dietary Aide in November 2015 and have since been promoted to the position of Dietary Supervisor in February 2024. Throughout my time at Menorah, I have demonstrated strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, ensuring high-quality food service and resident satisfaction.In my role as a Dietary Supervisor, I oversee and manage dietary operations and staff to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. I collaborate with healthcare professionals to address and accommodate special dietary needs of patients or residents, and I also train and mentor dietary staff on food preparation, portion control, and sanitation practices. Additionally, I maintain records of food temperatures during storage, transportation, cooking, and serving processes to ensure food safety.I hold a NYCDOH Food Handler’s Certification and Serv-safe Manager Certification, and I am currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nutrition and Culinary Management with a Culinary Management Option at LaGuardia Community College. My strong problem-solving abilities, effective verbal communication, and extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety, and dietary guidelines have contributed to my success in the industry.
