I hold a BSc in Forensic Psychology and have dedicated my career to supporting marginalised communities. Over the past 2 years, I've worked as an advocate, empowering those at risk of gender-based violence, with a focus on Black Femmes. My work involved providing emotional support and coordinating multi-agency responses to ensure my clients' safety and well-being.During this time, I also volunteered for 6 months in Tanzania, focusing on childcare which enhanced my skills in cross-cultural communication and working with vulnerable populations, reinforcing my passion for advocacy and support.After 1.5 years of Advocacy, I travelled across South East Asia for 3 months, immersing myself in different cultures and broadening my perspective on global challenges.I'm excited to continue my professional journey as a Residential Childcare Practitioner, where I will apply my expertise in trauma-informed care and child welfare.
