Ebony Beckwith is Salesforce’s Chief Business Officer and Chief of Staff to Marc Benioff. In this role, Ebony is responsible for aligning the company, operationalizing Salesforce's core values, and leading all strategic projects, relationships, and initiatives of the Office of the CEO. Additionally, she is CEO of the Salesforce Foundation, overseeing the company's global philanthropic strategy. Ebony brings over two decades of experience in technology and operations; combined with expertise in Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG); Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I); and Philanthropy. In her previous role as Salesforce’s Chief Philanthropy Officer, Ebony led the company to give over $500 million in strategic grants and nearly 7 million employee volunteer hours. She extends her expertise through her service on the boards of Poshmark (NASDAQ: POSH) and Warriors Community Foundation, and as an advisory board member for PagerDuty.org.Ebony holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters from Golden Gate University.
