-Lead on managing the Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) and Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Programs through Federal and City funds-Develop rapport and maintain partnerships with 11 nonprofit, domestic violence (DV) victim service provider agencies, monitoring their progress and program implementation in serving DV victims citywide, through all 21 LAPD divisions.-Collect, Input, Review, and Follow up on data collection of programmatic efforts and the services victims of DV/sexual assault are receiving through DART and SART-Helping agencies communicate best practices and lessons learned in programmatic impact citywide-Streamlining resources and program protocol for interagency connection and collaboration- Approve or deny grant expenditures based on compiled backup documentation from sub-grantees and their compliance with grant requirements.- Work in close partnership with the Mayor's Office of Public Safety (MOPS) fiscal/accounting team to ensure that the sub-grantees that are deemed compliant with grant regulations receive their grant reimbursement and retention checks, upon their expenditure approval.- Responsible for updating the Homeland Security and Public Safety (HSPS) team on the status of JAG close out progress and any reporting/monitoring issues.- Participate in monthly Domestic Violence Task Force and Gang/Domestic Violence Nexus Committee meetings and assist in briefing the Deputy Mayor on meeting synopses.- Assist in domestic violence arrest policies contract writing, development, execution, and implementation by serving as a liaison between the LA City Attorney’s Office and the contracted service provider(s).-Attend and aid in grant-funded psychoeducational trainings of LAPD and DV service providers on topics including: Healthy Relationships, Teen Dating Violence, Identifying the Dominant Aggressor, PTSD, Strangulation, Trauma-Informed Care, Elder Abuse/Abuse Later in Life, Domestic Violence/Gang Violence Nexus, etc.
