Ebony is a sociologist, social designer and strategist - curious about the intersections of business, systems design and the future of humanity. Her approach brings together evidence, social design and platform thinking to disrupt the way we think about and solve complex social issues.Ebony co-founded DOA, a social cause agency exploring how people, brands and businesses can seriously amplify their efforts for change. She is an experienced researcher, designer and leader - this combination has been key to her success across her multiple roles disrupting power and systems through government, corporates and NGOs. Prior to this Ebony founded REDx - a Do Tank within Australian Red Cross exploring the future of action to solve significant humanitarian issues like loneliness, COVID-19, nuclear weapons and homelessness. Ebonys’ research focuses on the future of social connection and hybrid realities, to explore how humans experience connection and find ways that practical products, businesses and design can bring to life a more connected and abundant future for everyone.
