Ebony King is the founder of registered charity ElevateHer UK, writer, speaker, mentor, mental health and well-being support provider for vulnerable girls and young women. With many years of lived and professional experience, Ebony is able to educate and engage with young people ensuring their needs are met via advocacy. Being labelled as a “troubled child” from a young age and becoming a teenage mum with a lack of mental health support, Ebony is now able to inspire other misunderstood young girls by encouraging them to be strong and keep going. Ebony was able to turn her life around by changing her negative situation into a positive. Ebony has worked closely with organisations such as the Barclays, Snapchat, British Airways, YMCA, Citizens UK, London borough of Barking & Dagenham council, Future Youth Zone and many more organisations. Also partnering with schools and colleges in London. She has been featured on BBC News, ITV News, TheGuardian and various women’s magazines.
