I am currently completing my Degree in Social and Community Development at Sheridan College. Driven by my passion to promote social justice and equity, I have dedicated myself to empowering others, building communities, and assisting them in turning trauma into triumph. I am committed to learning and utilizing resources to support and advocate for vulnerable individuals, families, and communities. My current experience includes street outreach, group facilitation, researching, counseling, advocacy, and supporting individuals living with developmental, neurological, and/or physical impairments. I have also worked in community and residential care settings where I provided organized activities and did administrative tasks. Lastly, I have many years as an experienced Early Childhood Educator in addition to a Level 2 certification, and experience in the aviation customer service field.
